Navarre is situated in the Northwest corner of Florida. It covers just about 23 square miles and has a population of roughly 45,000. Our proximity to several Air Force and Naval bases (home to groups from all branches of the military) make it a popular place for our Military members and government employees to call home both during their service as well as after retiring. Our pristine beach and small town feel are appealing to many, making it an ideal place to raise a family, retire, vacation or invest!
NAVARRE BEACH
Navarre Beach is a barrier island situated on the Gulf of Mexico and separated from the mainland by the Santa Rosa Sound. It is accessed by a causeway from Highway 98. Navarre Beach offers many housing or investment options.
HOLLEY BY THE SEA
Holley by the Sea is a large subdivision of approximately 5,000 home sites, covering an area of just over 6 square miles. It has one of the largest Home Owners Association in Florida. Membership in Holley by the Sea gives access to the 48 acre Recreational Facility which houses swimming pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, basketball courts, walking trail, event rooms, and childcare program. There are many other activities available including: Zumba, Yoga, Taekwondo, Swim Team, Tennis Teams and many others. These amenities make HBTS a desirable place many to call home.
Within Holley by the Sea is Hidden Creek Golf Course where Hidden Creek Estates is located. Many upscale homes are on or near the course which is open year round. Views of this amazing golf course are a popular selling point. Lots are still on the large side at a third of an acre – but less than the rest of HBTS.
EAST NAVARRE
The subdivisions of East Navarre are very popular, mainly among those working or serving at Hurlburt Field and Eglin AFB. From Florida State Road 87 to the east county line, there are numerous home choices. There are homes within subdivisions with HOAs as well as areas free of restrictions (beyond county zoning).
WEST NAVARRE / EAST GULF BREEZE AREA
The area west of Florida State Road 87 and including the Midway Area of Gulf Breeze includes Holley by the Sea as well as many other subdivisions – some with HOAs and others without. It is a common area for those who work or frequently visit Pensacola.
SUBDIVISIONS SOUTH OF 98
Highway 98 is the main thoroughfare that runs east to west through the southern end of the Navarre mainland (it actually runs from western Mississippi to southern Florida). Homes and subdivisions south of 98 are desirable because of the convenient access to 98. Many homes are built right on the Santa Rosa Sound and some neighborhoods offer deeded access to the sound where beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed!
NORTH NAVARRE/EAST BAY AREA/HOLLEY
The East Bay is a body of water between Navarre and Milton. It is connected to the open waters of the Gulf through the Pensacola Bay. State Road 399 or East Bay Blvd runs east to west in the northern section of Navarre. Along this corridor are stately homes and subdivisions. Holley is the northernmost section of Navarre.
